Project Firewalker - There are 5 separate assignments to this mission.Dossier: Archangel (Garrus) - Make sure to bring the datapad info back to Aria for a reward.Players should speak to every squadmate about Normandy Upgrades and make all Ship Upgrades prior to the run to the Collector base. Dossier: The Professor (Mordin) - Unlocks the Tech Lab on the Normandy and allows players to begin making upgrades to weapons, armor, and the ship.In the Market District, they will find the FBA Couplings at Kenn's Salvage. They can also find the Serrice Ice Brandy at the Afterlife bar for Dr. Omega: Aria T'Loak - Players can unlock an optional side mission, Omega: The Patriarch, by talking to Grizz.Dossier: The Veteran (Zaeed) - Players will immediately find Zaeed upon leaving the Normandy SR-2 and finding out Aria wants to speak with them.Ultimately, players will find there are more missions on Omega than the Citadel, but the order of these can be switched at any time. Both are hubs with good weapons, armor, and upgrades to purchase, and players can recruit squadmates, including the DLC characters, at each location. Players can either start on the Citadel or Omega. The most boring paradox ever. There are two ways to approach the start of Act One. Coupled with his overall zen schtick, he’s just a bit much - while simultaneously offering very little. I recall Thane giving off serious Reply Guy vibes that put me right off pursuing him. Putting aside his ridiculous justification for how he reconciles his spirituality with his profession, exploring the romance prospects with the Drell (a girl needs options!) just confirmed what a wet lettuce he is. Henceforth known as “the lizard alien guy who dies in the hospital,” the prospect of hanging out with a cool-as-a-cucumber assassin seemed so alluring. So much so, in fact, that I totally blanked on his name when we were discussing this article. Where to even begin with this guy? There are a slew of annoying characters in Mass Effect, from space racist Ashley Williams, to Kaiden Alenko, my first love, and an absolute arse who made Shepard's death and subsequent resurrection all about him.īut my dislike for Thane is simply based on the fact that he’s so incredibly dull. If you feel like bawling your eyes out, my fellow Paragon Shepherds can relive his final moments right here. If you spent time with Mordin aboard the Normandy, the absolute heartbreak of his final moments becomes even more tragic when he starts singing his Gilbert and Sullivan "Scientist Salarian" ditty. Of course, that makes it all the more devastating when he sacrifices himself to ensure the Krogans are cured - an unavoidable fate, which no amount of walkthrough-reading could offer an alternative to. But we all make mistakes, and Mordin eventually redeems himself by beavering away on a cure. He also played a significant part in perpetuating the deadly Krogan genophage. A scientist through and through, Mordin has a tendency to act in favor of the greater good, regardless of the consequences. Putting aside everyone’s favorite Mass Effect character (and love of my life) Garrus, Mordin Solus is next in line to take up the mantle of the series’ most outstanding character.
